How much is one more soul worth?

During the holocaust, over six million of God’s children were horribly terminated at the hand of Hitler’s Third Reich. Considered a subspecies, they were separated from their loved ones, violated, mutilated and then killed in gas chambers. But there were those who cared enough to try and save them. At great sacrifice of time, money and even the risk of their own lives, there were those who sought to save the Jewish people from this horrible fate. Dr. Oskar Schindler was one of them. He alone saved 1100 Jews from the hands of Adolf Hitler. And yet, when being thanked for his deeds by those he had saved, Dr. Schindler’s broken response was, “I didn’t do enough! I could have gotten one more person …”

Today we are experiencing a holocaust of even greater proportions than Hitler's ovens.  The mortality figure is not six million, it is hundreds of millions. The mode of genocide is not earthly gas chambers, but the flames of an eternity spent in hell. When will we wake up and see people through our Savior’s eyes and do whatever it takes to reach the lost?

God thought enough of each individual soul to send His only Son. He has enabled ordinary people like you and me to participate in his plan of redemption by giving us His strength and power to accomplish extraordinary things. What will you do to save ONE MORE SOUL?
